We are one team in pursuit of achieving best in class manufacturing and delivering the highest quality products to our customers on time.
SSP takes great pride in actively improving our local community. As a 60-year partner in the community we have a long history of service. Our 50+ year partnership with United Way has raised millions of dollars to help people in our community recover from crisis. From working with local food pantries and serving meals on wheels to providing Christmas gifts to local children in need we are committed to helping our community and the people who live in it.
The safety of our workforce is a core value. Nothing takes precedence over safe work. We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthful workplace for our employees through compliance, training and teamwork. We will continuously improve our processes, procedures, and practices to achieve our goal of an injury free workplace. All accidents can be prevented. It is the responsibility of SSP employees, guests and visitors to follow all safety rules. We work together to promote health and safety and take every reasonable measure to assure that safe working conditions exist throughout our company.
SSP takes special precautions to protect the environment and considers environmental protection issues in all applicable business decisions. In its guidelines, SSP acknowledges a high level of social responsibility towards its employees, society and the environment. The SSP environmental policy is derived from this belief. It expresses the desire to assure that legal requirements are fulfilled and that the environmental situation of the company continuously improves. Compliance with this environmental policy is an obligation for all employees.
SSP complies with applicable environmental laws, regulations, codes of practice, and other environmental requirements to which we subscribe. Furthermore, SSP develops and maintains management systems for identifying relevant requirements and for monitoring performance of related activities. The management systems that are implemented by SSP are evaluated on a regular basis and continuously improved with appropriate and economically feasible measures.
